Bratislava's Old Town district contains many pleasant locations. One of them is Lovinsky Street. The street itself is set in sloping terrain and offers unique views of the panorama dominated by Kamzík. On this place is also the plot of land where the investor wanted to create his new home. On the basis of positive references he chose our company.

However, the idea of living uphill had to be realised. The light study of the whole plot became our first priority, as the investor has a positive relationship with the sun and wanted the sunniest possible interior and garden. This study gave us clear input parameters for the design itself. The building is designed as a three-storey building, with a somewhat atypical, but well thought-out arrangement of the individual floors. On the first floor there is an entrance from the street, a garage for cars and space for technical equipment for the building. This floor is perceptible only from the street, from the rear side it is entirely hidden under the garden terrain. Above it is located the private part of the house, which contains bedrooms. There is a private bedroom for the owners of the house with en-suite facilities, a bedroom with a guest bathroom, a study and children's bedrooms. The master bedroom and the children's bedrooms have direct access to the garden, the guest room and the study face the street. On the top floor there is one large, open plan living area with dining area and kitchen. This floor, due to its placement in the terrain, flows seamlessly flush directly into the property, offering the owners a passage from the living areas to the garden and the pool directly, without changing levels. There is one central staircase that guides the visitor and the occupant of the house from the lowest entrance floor through all levels. There are skylights in the roof that supplement the whole building with daylight.
